Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

We value all feedback from visitors to altered-art.net, so if you have asked for a reply we will respond as soon as possible.

An automated reply has already been sent to the email address that you entered, and you should receive this within minutes. You should get email from us without problems, but…

Important Message

If you do not get the automated response within 30 minutes, and there was no error in the email address that you gave us, your internet service provider (ISP), mail service or mail software is probably filtering out our email by mistake. More importantly, it means that it will filter out any future message that we send, and we will not be able to reply to you, even when you email us to say that you have not received our message.

What should you do?

Check your Junk or Spam folder for the automated reply - your ISP, mail service or mail software may have placed it there. If not, they may have deleted it without telling you.

Please do not blame your ISP, mail service or software; they are just trying to protect you from spam - electronic junk mail. It is such an enormous problem that all ISPs and mail services filter email nowadays. 'False positives' (emails filtered out by mistake) do happen, because of the complexity and the sheer amount of spam they receive. All responsible ISPs and mail services recognise the problem of false positives, so they provide you with ways to allow the email that you specifically wish to receive to pass through the filter.

It's like a manual override, and your ISP, mail service or software provider has probably provided a simple tool for you to do it yourself. To make sure that our mail is not deleted, or filtered into your Junk or Spam folder, please add the @altered-art.net domain to your list of trusted senders, your address book or contact list (in your mail software) and to your ISP or mail service's whitelist. This way the filters will know that you want to receive our emails, even if their algorithms believe them to be junk mail.

We're sorry that we have to ask you to do this, but we want to make sure that our response to you does not get lost.
